I just noticed that you obtained the Breakdance name by cutting the edges of a Sketchup shape. You can easily obtain teh same result by using a transparent alpha texture. You have to work on a 2-d graphic program (if you don't have Photoshop, you can use the Gimp that's free and allows to obtain good results).
